100% high twist british falkland merino 4 ply fingerng weight. Gauge is 26-28 stitches per 10 cm depending on your needles. The yarn is incredibly soft and huggable, a truly pleasing experience on your skin. One skein of halo will give you a small sized shawl (ex. my pattern Echo Flower) or a pair of mittens. You can also knit a cardigan with 3-4 skeins depending on your size.

Make sure you plan your project carefully: since the yarn is hand dyed it’s hard to replicate the same nuances and shades in a new dye bath. So make sure you don’t run out of yarn before finishing your project.

Washing and handling: 30 degrees hand wash. When blocking, leave it to soak in lukewarm water for about 30 min. Remove the water without wringing, and always handle wet yarn with great care since the fibers easily get damaged. Block your project carefully according to your pattern and let it dry.
